Directs Virginia's Department of Criminal Justice Services to establish a comprehensive framework governing law-enforcement use of generative AI systems, machine learning systems, and audiovisual surveillance technologies, including model policies and mandatory officer training standards. Agencies must adopt conforming policies by July 1, 2027, and officers hired before July 1, 2026 must complete training by January 1, 2030. The bill also requires forensic laboratory accreditation and restricts purchases of unapproved forensic equipment.
