Comprehensively amends Connecticut's data privacy and consumer protection framework, including registering data brokers, creating an opt-out deletion mechanism, requiring disclosure of algorithmic pricing, defining and regulating facial recognition technology under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act, and restricting the sharing of precise geolocation data and automated license-plate reader information. Applies primarily to private-sector data processors and state contractors.
