BIPA-SECURITY PURPOSE

Amends Illinois' Biometric Information Privacy Act to define a "security purpose" -- covering theft, fraud, and threat prevention, including assisting law enforcement -- and waives certain biometric-collection consent requirements when data is gathered for that purpose. Applies to businesses and property owners that use biometric identification systems for security screening.
